Biologist and educator at heart. Deeply in love with learning, the natural world, the strange corners of science, the way things connect to other things. Allergic to mathematics, drawn to everything else.

I keep pets, tend to plants, listen to music in too many genres to name, and spend a considerable amount of time imagining myself into worlds that don't exist yet. I've been diagnosed with autism, which explained a lot.

Trying to be kind. Trying to be happy. Trying to be a little better each day, despite everything. This site is part of that attempt, a place to exist on the internet that feels like mine.
